Lagos Diaspora Trivia - Lagos House of Assembly

The Lagos State House of Assembly is one of the state legislatures formed by Section 90 of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Constitution, as amended.

It is endowed with legislative powers for the state, as well as privileges and immunities that allow it to exercise these powers freely.

It was inaugurated on June 13, 2019. One of the attractions of the Lagos State House of Assembly is the mace of the house, erected in front of the building.

It is located right inside Lagos state Government secretariat, at Assembly Complex, Alausa, in Ikeja Central Business District.
